Coastwalk is a non-profit that has been offering hiking adventures along the world-class California Coastal Trail since 1983. Our mission is to ensure the right of all people to reach and responsibly enjoy the California coast.Our volunteer-run adventures show off the famous California coast as only locals know it. We offer unique experiences combining group camaraderie with intimate, often profound, encounters with nature.Coastwalk offers a range of eco-tours including family adventures, "classic" hiking and camping trips, challenging backpacks and inn-based getaways. Several of our trips include beach cleanups or trail stewardship components.Coastwalk is the only statewide non-profit dedicated to completion of the California Coastal Trail.
