FAQ - Repair Services
Yes. It takes time to assess every job and we pride ourselves on doing high quality work. We have a $15 minimum per item.
You can bring your repair item directly to AdventureUs, and the staff upstairs will assist you with the intake process.
Our goal is to be at a two week tun around. But timing varies based on the type of work and our availability. We offer service scheduling - if you make an appointment (include pictures of the repair) we can put you in our lineup without you being away from your item before we work on it.
We charge a $15 rush fee on small repairs that need to be pushed to the front of our lineup. We can talk over options for timeline on larger projects.
Yes! We offer hems for pants and shirts. We do not normally alter formal wear but we are always willing to have a discussion about it! At this time we are not accepting Wedding Dresses.
Our shop minimum is $15 per item with current labor rate of $65/hr and $75/hr for large canvas and custom fabrications. Please see our Garment Restoration Service Guides for estimates of common repairs.
Yes! We ship repairs throughout the US weekly. Feel free to mail your items to us or drop them off while visiting and arrange for return shipping. We typically charge $6 for under 1lb, $12 for under 3lbs and then custom rates apply.
We do not offer this service.
We are always happy to talk over projects and see what we can provide. Custom projects start at $65 and go up from there. We also offer design and sourcing services.
Feel free to contact us anytime!
Let's face it, we all have a jacket we particularly love-and mine quit zipping. I sent it off to AdventureUs in case it could be saved. It came back absolutely as good as new. We'll have many more winters together!

"Repairs with love and care- WOW! Great service wonderful responses, caring staff, and more. I mailed my repairs to Adventure Us (to save my time+gas) and repairs were mailed back, fast. The repair work looks better than NEW! ... and for me zippers are not much fun! thanks for everything"

"Great job with the zipper repair on one of the sweatshirts and converting a hoodie to a zipup!"
– Katie S.
"They took my favorite boots and made them new again, actually better than new! Adventurers replaced the zipper on my pair of leather winter boots. The zipper they put in looks better and works better than the original! Thanks AdventureUs!"
– Angie Vasser
"My zipper replacement on a Nordic ski boot was handled in a very professional manner. Staff were courteous, the repair time was reasonable and the cost was fair. I would highly recommend AdventureUs."
– Babette Zehren
"I had been told by two other businesses the zipper on my waterproof ski shell jacket couldn’t be fixed. Rip&Stitch/AdventureUs fixed it beautifully and quickly, and they were incredibly knowledgeable in helping me decide my options. Highly recommended!"
– Pat H
"I sent two fleeces and a jacket from New Mexico to AdventureUs. Within a week, they called me to discuss repair options. They described different repair strategies and the costs and then let me decide. The items were delivered back at my doorstep on March 28th, neatly folded, with beautifully-repaired zippers."
